This position is responsible for completing revenue cycle activities.
Business Office Representative Essential FunctionsProcess charges, payments, and adjustmentsClaim submission and follow upManage prior authorizations Manage patient accounts and inquiriesStay current on all insurance policies and procedures that affect the company and inform others of such changes in a proactive mannerStays current with all CPT and ICD10 changesStays current on insurance verification systems and processesBusiness Office Representative Other Essential Functions Must present self at the workstation, ready for work, at the scheduled timeCreate an exceptional patient experience Communicate effectively with supervisor, manager, and/or director Participate in department and company meetings, as requestedWork as a team with other departmentsLiaison between provider credentialing service and clinicMust be willing and able to work a variety of hours and work in the various locations as needed.
Perform other duties as assignedQualificationsBusiness Office Representative Education & LicensingHigh School Diploma, or equivalent, required Business Office Representative ExperienceHealth care industry experience requiredNextGen experience preferredJob Specific Skills & KnowledgeKnowledge of CPT and ICD10 coding, health insurance (HMO, PPO, Commercial, Govt programs, Medicare, etc.
