Crane Engineering is looking for a part-time Delivery Driver to deliver and pick-up parts and equipment.
Route of deliveries and pick-ups are Minnesota state-wide.
Crane Engineering is a growing organization, located Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Michigan.
We are the pre-eminent distributor of pumps, valves, filters, and other fluid handling solutions to a broad range of industries.
This position is based out of our Stillwater, MN location.
Duties and Responsibilities o Follows delivery driving routes and time schedules.
o Performs loading, unloading, preparing, inspecting and operating delivery vehicle.
o Assists preparing shipments in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements and specifications.
o Verifies outgoing deliveries for correct materials, packing, crating, tagging, and handling instructions, loading and bracing.
o Miscellaneous shipping-receiving and service coordination tasks per the direction of Senior Service Coordinator.
o Maintains a clean work environment while following DOT and safety regulations.
o Assists with accurately preparing required customer and Crane documentation.
o Communicates effectively with internal and external customers.
o May perform other duties as assigned.
o High school diploma or equivalent o A valid driver's license; must be able to meet CMV (commercial motor vehicle) requirements - Non CDL o Ability to follow verbal instructions o Positive, forward-thinking individual with high ethical standards and an appropriate professional image o Well-organized and self-directed team player o Effectively handle lifting of various objects weighing up to 60 pounds.
o Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writingDelivery Driver position is part-time 16 to 20 hours per week and has a competitive compensation structure within a values-focused culture.
